Drip, drip, drip….

Icicles melting
Sound of water dripping
Snow disappearing
Birds returning
Skies Caribbean blue
Temperature warming
Buds forming
Daylight savings time
Spirits lifting
No more hibernating
Getting more active
People smiling
Hearts swelling
Once again…
Hope springs eternal

Happy almost spring!

  1. Your poem is definitely on MY mind! Thank you for sharing it! You have captured exactly what we all seem to be aching for these days…sunshine, warmth, melting!!

  2. I’m 100% with you in the excitement over the end of winter. I actually had to open my windows after school today because it was TOO HOT in my car. I can’t tell you how long it’s been. Okay… I probably can. Maybe October!

  4. Your poem captures the beauty of today! I left work late, around 5:30, but the air was warm and the sun was still bright. I definitely felt like we turned a corner today! Such a hopeful poem!
