Icicles melting
Sound of water dripping
Snow disappearing
Birds returning
Skies Caribbean blue
Temperature warming
Buds forming
Daylight savings time
Spirits lifting
No more hibernating
Getting more active
People smiling
Hearts swelling
Once again…
Hope springs eternal
Happy almost spring!
I live in Texas and I know that our Winter has not been anything you can compare to anyone elses. However, I am SO tired of the rain and dreary weather! Thank you for giving me some hope on what is to come!

I’m 100% with you in the excitement over the end of winter. I actually had to open my windows after school today because it was TOO HOT in my car. I can’t tell you how long it’s been. Okay… I probably can. Maybe October!

Small signs that spring is on its way, a reason to smile. Nice poem!

So true! Of course the first thing I thought when I saw ‘drip drip drip’ was of the leak in the ceiling from the ice dams. But I like yours better!

Your poem captures the beauty of today! I left work late, around 5:30, but the air was warm and the sun was still bright. I definitely felt like we turned a corner today! Such a hopeful poem!
